Print publication again honored by APEX; reporter also cited

The APEX awards, which recognize achievement in publications work by professional communicators, have named CEO Update as a winner in its 26th annual competition. The publication received a 2014 Award for Publication Excellence in the print newsletter category, and had been similarly honored in 2013, when its new website was also honored.

In addition, this year CEO Update Reporter Lori Sharn won in the Feature Writing category for her March 22, 2013 story on Interim CEOs.

The two awards bring to ten the number of APEX honors won since CEO Update entered the competition in 2010.

Editor-in-Chief Anita Sama, acknowledging this year's recognition, said, "Our readers—association executives—demand excellence and we work tremendously hard to meet their need for information, reported, written and presented well. It is gratifying to know that we continue to succeed."
